When I opened my email yesterday I received a special message from a special person…my husband. He is always there for me. He has emotionally supported me through the thick and thin of my life, my career, and six years of graduate school.  This is a portion of what he sent me!

“Why do I love my wife?  It’s so intangible that it can’t be seen.  The
reasons, I mean.  When she isn’t fretting about this or that, she is without
a doubt, a blessing to so many people.  Her heart is so huge that it
wouldn’t fit in most people’s chests.  She is a selfless, caring person that
any man would be proud to have at his side.

I’ve watched her as she’s been in her heaven-Italy.  She walks through the
streets on a cloud.  A smile is never far from her face.  It makes me feel
so good to see her so happy.  It makes me want to inch as close to her as I
can get.

I want to be her best friend.  I want to be the one she wants to protect and
cuddle with.  I want her to love me with the comforting warmth reserved only
for those special couples that live for each other.

My prayer, for her, is that she realizes that when it’s all said and done,
there’s very little in this life that’s really important: God and family.
Everything else pales in comparison.

We’ve done a lot together in our marriage-a lot more than some couples do.
And I’ve enjoyed everything we’ve ever done, together.  I love my wife.

I want to grow old with this woman.  I want to hold her hand and look into
her eyes and tell her I love her, on the last day of my life.  I want to go
to sleep that last time knowing that we were right for one another. “

What more could I ask for in a husband?
